From Our Chairman. . .

As you know, the Republican Party represents the conservative views in America and here locally. It stands in stark contrast to the philosophies of Howard Dean, Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Rosie O’Donnell, who along with the ACLU, support every liberal interpretation of the Constitution, bigger welfare rolls, protection of terrorist and higher taxes for all of us.

“Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country”. That is more than a nice expression, it is an imperative! The future of our great Christian nation is truly at stake. Since Obama was elected, we have seen the “change” that will lead to higher taxes, weaker national defense, greater gun control, less homeland security, more benefits for illegal immigrants, partial birth abortions, greater dependence on foreign oil, federal judges and Supreme Court justices that follow socialist ideology and surrender in Iraq.

We are Americans and we must fight to preserve our heritage for ourselves and our children by electing an American who will put our country first. As the Angelina County Republican Party, we are not only working hard for our conservative candidates nationally but state wide and local. We must not fail. The old saying, “the best way for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing” is absolutely appropriate for today.  Get involved today!
